France opens the borders for tourists from EU and a number of other European countries. This is stated in a joint message by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of France, published on the website of the Foreign Ministry.
 
"In accordance with the recommendations of the European Commission, France from 00:00 on June 15 removes all restrictions on crossing its internal borders," the document says.

It is reported that starting June 15, residents of EU countries, Andorra, Iceland, Monaco, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, the Vatican, Saint-Martin, San Marino will be able to travel to France without any restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"Citizens of these countries will not need to have a certificate on the absence of coronavirus, as well as go to 14-day quarantine," the diplomats said.

At the same time, for residents of Spain and the UK who came to France, restrictions will continue.

As of June 13, 726 people in France were infected with coronavirus per day. In total, 193,220 cases of infection were recorded during the pandemic, of which 29,377 people died and 72,695 were cured.
