Delivery of the S-400 components began yesterday.

As is known, the signing by Turkey of an agreement with the Russian Federation regarding the supply of the S-400 air defense system was sharply criticized in the West. The American media reported that the United States put forward an ultimatum to Turkey - before the end of the first week of June, Turkey should break this agreement, otherwise the United States allegedly threatened to exclude Ankara from its program of delivery of F-35 fighters. In Ankara, such messages are refuted. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that if Ankara is excluded from the F-35 program, Turkey through the arbitration process will seek a return of $ 1.25 billion already paid to the United States for the fighters.
