Four political parties shall enter the Verkhovna Rada after the July 21 parliamentary elections in Ukraine. These are the results of a sociological study conducted by the Center for Social Monitoring and the Ukrainian Institute of Social Research named after Oleksandr Yaremenko.
According to the research, 42.5% of the population are ready to support “Servant of the People”, the political party of Volodymyr Zelensky headed by Dmytro Razumkov, 15.1% will vote for “Opposition Platform – For Life”, the party of Yuriy Boyko, Vadym Rabinovych and Viktor Medvedchuk, 8.1% - for “European Solidarity”, the party of Petro Poroshenko. 7.6% of the voters are ready to vote for Yuliya Tymoshenko’s “Fatherland”.
The parties that are not expected to cross 5% barrier, thus are not getting into the parliament are:
Holos (The Voice), Svyatoslav Vakarchuk – 4.8%
Civil Position, Anatoliy Hrytsenko – 4.8%
Strength and Honor, Ihor Smeshko’s – 4.6%
Other political parties have low chances to get into the parliament – Oleh Lyashlos’ Radical Party, Opposition Bloc (Murayev E., Vilkul O. Kernes H.), all-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda" (Tyahnybok O.), Groysman’s Ukrainian Strategy (Groysman V.), etc.
The survey was conducted within the period of July 3-10, 2019. 3022 people were interviewed at the place of their residence, with the sampling error being no more than 1.8%.
