Four countries join European sanctions against Russia

Four countries have joined European sanctions against Russia over the aggression in Donbas. This was reported on the website of the Council of the European Union.

"The Candidate Countries Montenegro and Albania, and the EFTA countries Liechtenstein and Norway, members of the European Economic Area, align themselves with this Council Decision (to extend sanctions against Russia due to the aggression in Donbas, - 112 International)," the statement said.

The European Council noted that the countries would ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.

"The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it," reads the message.

As we reported earlier, on November 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin extended the food embargo against several countries, including Ukraine.

The Russian government has been instructed to ensure the implementation of the measures necessary for the implementation of this decree, as well as, if necessary, make changes regarding the continuation of changing the period of validity of these economic measures.
