Former Minister of Economic Development, Trade, and Agriculture of Ukraine Tymofiy Mylovanov has been appointed advisor to the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak. This was reported by the press service of the President's Office.
The department noted that Mylovanov will hold the post of an out-of-staff advisor.
On August 29, 2019, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Mylovanov Minister of Economy, Trade, and Agriculture. On March 4, 2020, parliament accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk and the entire government.
After leaving the government of Ukraine, Mylovanov again headed the Kyiv School of Economics.
It was previously reported that the ex-Minister of Economy may head the National Bank of Ukraine. However, Mylovanov himself ruled out the possibility of his appointment to this position.
