Former Ukrainian people’s deputy of the 7th convocation (2012-2014) Volodymyr Bydevka became the chairman of “the national council” of the self-proclaimed “Donetsk People’s Republic” (DPR), as Donbas News reported.
Bydevka became the Verkhovna Rada MP from the Communist party, which is banned now.
98 DPR “people’s deputies” out of 100 voted for the communist-separatist.
Bydevka is the representative of the so-called Donetsk Republic faction. He was born in Makiivka, Donetsk region. He has been a member of Ukraine's Communist Party for a long time.
The so-called elections took place in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions November 11. The voters elected the leaders of "people's republics" and their representatives in the parliaments of the "republics."
Russian media reported that the elections were "calm" and "without violations." According to the so-called "Central Election Commissions" of the militants, the voter turnout as of 18:00 made 72,5% in Luhansk and 76,2% in Donetsk People's Republic.
Leonid Pasechnyk was chosen as the "head" of the self-proclaimed republic at the illegal "elections" in the separate parts of Luhansk regions (Luhansk People's Republic). Denis Pushilin was "elected" as the head of the territory of Donetsk region occupied by the pro-Russian militants (Donetsk People's Republic).
Besides, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko urged Ukrainians living in the occupied Donbas not to vote at the fake elections on November 11.
