Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin stated that the Ministry intends to prepare a draft resolution of the UN General Assembly on the militarization of occupied Crimea, as Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“There is an idea to make a separate resolution which concerns the militarization of annexed Crimea,” the Minister said.
He noted that the military equipment from the occupied territory of the peninsula is supplied to, for instance, Syria.
“Now, Crimea is a big Russian base. We suspect that there might be a nuclear weapon or, at least, an infrastructure for it,” Klimkin added.
Also, Ukraine, the U.S., Germany, and France “are almost ready” to present their joint resolution on the peacekeeping mission in Donbas for the consideration in the UN Security Council.
