The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine responded to the arrival of the Belarusian opposition politicians to Ukraine and stated that despite the restrictions for the entrance of foreigners, the Ukrainian border is open for Belarusians who want to cross on legal grounds, as Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba reported on Facebook.

“Despite the restrictions for the entrance of foreigners, the Ukrainian border is open for Belarusians who want to cross on legal grounds. Meanwhile, we will severely counteract any attempts of the special service of Belarus or Russia to use our openness to damage relations between Belarusian and Ukrainian people,” he wrote.
