Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba claimed he would oppose the idea of us of Sputnik-V vaccine in Ukraine - even if the vaccine's efficiency was clinically proven. Kuleba said so in his interview with the 1+1 TV channel.
"As a member of the government, I would reject such a decision. Because Russia doesn't care about the health of Ukrainians, it cares about forcing its own propagandist cliches and ideology via the supplies of the vaccine... even if it was efficient", he said.
The official claimed that the very fact that this topic is being discussed is already a sign of the forced hybrid discussion about this vaccine.
"I would like to put it clearly: propagandist capabilities of Sputnik-V considerably exceed its actual capacity and efficiency", he added.
According to the Minister, there are no final results of clinical tests of Sputnik-V.
"From Russia's point of view, there's a factor that is much more important than the medical one, - it's a propagandist factor. They are imposing this fancy story about us being left in the lurch, saying we can't do anything, and Russians are "a brotherly nation that is here for us and ready to help", Kuleba said.
