U.S. President Donald Trump criticized former Special Counsel Robert Muller for not investigating the work of his subordinates. U.S. leader published such comment on Twitter amid the widespread media reports that Attorney Andrew Weissmann offered lawyers of oligarch Dmytro Firtash a deal – to testify against Trump in exchange for dropping charges against him.

“So Democrats and others can illegally fabricate a crime, try pinning it on a very innocent President, and when he fights back against this illegal and treasonous attack on the country, they call it obstruction? Wrong! Why didn't Robert Mueller investigate the investigators?” Trump wrote.

In his other tweet, the U.S. President states that even before Mueller was assigned with the investigation against him, Special Counsel sought the position of the FBI Director and had an interview for the job.

“It has been reported that Robert Muller is saying that he did not apply and interview for the job of FBI Director (and get turned down) the day before he was wrongfully appointed Special Counsel. Hope he doesn’t say that oath in that we have numerous witnesses to the...,” the message says.

"No collusion, no obstruction!" Trump wrote.

As it was reported earlier, Rudy Giuliani called the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate Mueller’s using Firtash case to assault Trump. The Giuliani’s reaction comes as the response to an article How Mueller deputy Andrew Weissmann's offer to an oligarch could boomerang on DOJ was published in The Hill on July 22, where John Solomon, one of the leading authors of the American edition The Hill, has conducted an investigation that reveals new important information in the case and sheds light on what other additional evidence may be provided by Firtash's defense to the Austrian court to resume the process.
