The US State Department reported that Washington continues to assume efforts aiming for evacuation from Afghanistan of the US and Afghan people who need protection. Earlier, the evacuation from Afghanistan was held at the planes of the US, Germany, and other countries. These flights, however, were stopped at the end of August after the withdrawal of the last American soldiers from Afghanistan.

As we reported, a total of more than 600 citizens, including foreigners, were evacuated on Ukrainian planes from Afghanistan.  The issue is about Ukrainians, members of their families, foreign journalists, human right activists and people, who faced threats.
