Polish media reported an outbreak of measles – for the first time in ten years in this country.
According to Radio Olsztyn, the infection spread among the workers of Morliny, the famous meat-packing plant in Warmian-Mazurian Voivodeship, Northern Poland. The infected appeared to be Ukrainian citizens.
Local doctors report that from two to five Ukrainians have confirmed symptoms of the illness.
Over 700 people who contacted the sick patients are now to be inoculated with the vaccine.
