Finnish Border Guards claimed that they detained a group of illegal migrants who arrived from Belarus. Press office of the Finnish authority reported that on Twitter

"Thousands of people followed the Belarusian route in Germany. Some 30 people arrived in Finland", reads the statement.

The Border Guard Service does not consider Finland to be a target country for the route of the detained illegal immigrants. The situation on the Finnish border is stable, it is monitored, information is exchanged. A preliminary investigation has begun on the case, the agreement on illegal entry will be studied.

According to the EU confidential document, Finland and Germany are the main directions for those who seek asylum on the border with Poland, writes Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat.
