The electric shock is the favorite tool of the Russian FSB officers for the tortures. Ihor Gryb, the father of Pavlo Gryb detained in Russia and representative of the Union “Relatives of political prisoners of Kremlin” claimed this as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.
He noted that according to the testimony of more than 70 Ukrainian political prisoners, the worst tortures take place during the extract of first confessions.
Ihor Gryb referred to Yevhen Panov detained in the Russian prison.
“They beat me up with the iron pipe at the head, back, kidneys, hands, legs. The handcuffs were dragged back until the hands were numb and then they suspended me by the handcuffs. They bent my legs in knees, handcuffed me in front and put the iron stick under the knees. Then two men raised me at this stick and I fell the horrible pain,” Panov said.
Gryb emphasized that the mentioned tortures did not crush the will of Ukraine.
“Then, the prosecutors of Russia’s FSB used the electric shock. Generally, the use of the electric shock is the favorite tool of the torture of the FSB officers. They call it “electro-reminder” and it was used against the half of the Ukrainian prisoners,” Gryb said.
As we reported the Russian military officers are often involved in tortures of Ukrainian prisoners in Donbas conflict area.
