In the Sumy region, a father and two of his sons are running for city administration members from three different parties. Thus, Magomed Galaev (father), Rasul, and Rustam Galaev (his two sons) are planning to get to parliament. This is confirmed on the CEC website.
Magomed Galaev is running for a member of the Sumy Regional Council from the Batkivshchyna party of Yulia Tymoshenko. Previously, he was also a member of this party.
Rasul Galaev plans to become an MP from the European Solidarity party, and Rustam Galaev - from the Servant of the People party.
On September 5, the election campaign of local elections officially started. The nomination of candidates lasted from 15 to 24 September. On October 2, information on the registration of candidates was made public. From that day on, the candidate has the right to official campaigning. From October 15 - there's time for mailing of personal invitations to voters. October 24 is a day of silence (no campaigning), and October 25 is an election day. The election results will be announced on November 6.
