German far-right party "Alternative for Germany" is going to the elections for the Bundestag with its manifesto that includes leaving the EU as the main demand, Deutsche Welle writes.

"We consider it necessary for Germany to leave the EU and create a new European community of economies and interests," the election campaign said.

The document also says that the party will support a ban on the resettlement of any relatives of refugees accepted in the country. In addition, the party considers it necessary to restore the fences on the country's borders and restore control of documents during their crossing.

Elections for the Bundestag will take place in September 2021.

It will be recalled that the United Kingdom left the European Union in January 2020, 43 months after the victory of Brexit supporters in the 2016 referendum. And on December 31, 2020, the transition period ended, during which London retained access to the domestic European market.

As it was reported, the United Kingdom and the European Union signed a trade agreement after the UK left the EU (Brexit).
