Facebook administration limits political publicity in a number of states, including Ukraine. The changes concern Nigeria, India, Ukraine and the EU member countries, where elections will be held this year.
The limitations are necessary to prevent the interference of foreign entities and individuals in the electoral process.
Previously, the social network was involved in the scandal with the Russian special services interfering with the presidential election in the U.S. Moscow denies these charges.
The presidential campaign in Ukraine began on December 31, 2018. The elections day is slated for March 31, 2019. As of January 17, eight candidates officially filled in the papers and were registered by the Central Election Commission of Ukraine.
