On Saturday, an explosion thundered at an oil depot in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk controlled by the militants. This is reported by Interfax with reference to the head of the occupation administration of the city Olexiy Kulemzin.

The reason for the explosion was an explosive device that was dropped from an unmanned aerial vehicle, Interfax writes, citing a source close to the Donbas investigative bodies.

The office of the occupation authorities of the Donetsk region in the joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC) told the news agency that the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission had refused to record the consequences of the explosion at the oil depot in Donetsk. The reason for this decision by the OSCE SMM is related to security considerations.

Meanwhile, the leader of the DPR militants Denis Pushilin called the explosion at the oil depot in Donetsk a terrorist attack.
