There were the spies among the dozens of the Russian diplomats expelled from the US. They tracked the Russian defectors and their families moved to the US. CNN reported this citing the officials of the law enforcement and intelligence bodies.

According to the sources, at least in one case, the Russian spies tracked the member of the CIA program that provides new IDs to protect the Russians moved to the US.

‘This case and other American intelligence raise the concern that the Russians were preparing to attack the Russian immigrants to the US treated by Kremlin as the traitors or enemies’, the officials said.

The suspicion was confirmed after the poisoning of the ex-GRU officer Sergey Skripal and his daughter (the citizen of Russia) in Salisbury, the UK.

The CIA and the White House refused to comment this. Also, Russia’s Embassy to the US did not answer to the request.

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons confirmed Britain’s conclusions that ex-GRU officer Sergei Skripal was poisoned with the nerve agent.

Ex-colonel of Russia’s GRU, Chief Intelligence Department, Sergey Skripal and his daughter Yulia, poisoned in the center of Salisbury town in the evening of March 4, are still struggling for life in the intensive care unit of the local hospital. The British special services suppose that Skripals were poisoned by his ex-colleague Andrey Lugovoy, who acted on orders from Moscow.
