Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko commented on the possible exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and the Russian Federation according to “all for all” format. He said that the swap could take place in the near future,  Inter TV channel reports.

"It was always a difficult process, because the “all for all” format assumes that we know the lists, we agree to these lists ... Special groups of people work every single day, night and day, in order to coordinate and budge this a very complex, yet mentally unfair process," Prystaiko said.

The Foreign Minister stressed that the return of Ukrainian prisoners is planned in the near future.

On Friday, September 13, Ukraine transferred to the Russian Federation lists of prisoners for a second exchange.

In turn, a spokesman for Putin noted that Russia does not exclude a new exchange of prisoners.

Peskov believes that this process will be long and painstaking.

“This requires the beginning of a new process, an exchange of views, a very painstaking and probably time-stretched work. No one a priori feels the possibility and expediency of such a process, so this is a matter of bilateral contacts,” Dmitry Peskov said.

He also noted that Ukraine and the Russian Federation have not yet discussed the fate of Ukrainian ships detained in the Kerch Strait.

“I’m not ready to discuss this topic now. Apparently, within the framework of the contacts between Moscow and Kyiv, this issue should be raised. And when it is raised, it will be considered,” Dmitry Peskov said.
