Giorgi Samushia, the former agent of Georgian Interior Ministry is detained in Ukraine - for violating the border crossing procedure. His relatives reported that as quoted by Georgia Online.

'The charges pressed by the Georgian side are absurd. Last time he was in Frace, and he was worried about his health. Since they did not provide him with political sanctuary, he headed for Ukraine, where his nephews met him. Then, he was going to get back to Georgia', they said.

Georgii Samushia was detained in Georgia in 2015. According to the investigation data, he made a Georgian citizen recognize committing a terrorist act in the city of Zugdidi. After refusing to recognize the crime he did not commit, the detainee was taken from Zugdidi to Tbilisi; then, he was tortured at the military police department.

Later, Samushia was released on bail, as the court changed the restriction measure. In spite of the fact that the court deprived him of his IDs, Samushia managed to leave the country. Interpol put him on the wanted list.
