Security Service of Ukraine performs pre-trial investigation in this case

Prosecutors of the Kherson region notified former Ukrainian MP of suspicion of aiding terrorists and performing illegal visits in occupied Donbas and Crimea. Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported that on December 29.

"According to the investigation team, former MP has been supporting the annexation of Crimea and occupant actions of Russia in Donbas since the bery beginning of the Russian aggression. Besides, after leaving for the Russian Federation in 2015, he continued to promote the pro-Russian views in eastern Ukraine, specifically in Kherson region", reads the message.

The former MP was notified of suspicion in absentia. The law enforcers look into the case on the fact of actions aiming to change or topple the constitutional order, to aid a terrorist organization, and to violate the public order in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. 

Kherson regional branch of the Security Service of Ukraine performs the pre-trial investigation in this case.
