Former Ukrainian lawmaker Boryslav Bereza claimed he would be running for Kyiv mayor's office, representing EcoParty movement during the future local election. The politician posted that on Facebook.
According to him, those who managed the city for decades are the people who appeared there by accident; they had neither a strategy nor the vision of Kyiv's future.
Bereza previously ran for mayor's office in Kyiv. In 2015, he lost to the incumbent mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.
Previously, TV host, actor, and volunteer Serhiy Prytula also claimed his intentions to run. He will be representing the Holos party.
MP Iryna Vereshchuk will be running from the pro-presidential party Servant of the People.
Meanwhile, another TV host Andriy Palchevsky said he will run for the office, too.
