Vladyslav Kaskiv, the former chairman of Ukraine’s State Agency for Investment and National Projects, has been extradited to Ukraine from Panama. Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko posted this on Facebook.
‘In the small hours of November 1, Vladyslav Kaskiv, the former head of the State Agency for Investment and National Projects, was extradited from Panama to Ukraine, thanks to the joint efforts by Prosecutor General’s Office and Ukraine’s Security Service. Kaskiv faces charges with illicit enrichment, as he and other officials are accused of seizing USD 200,000 from Ukraine’s state budget’, Lutsenko wrote.
Currently, Kaskiv stays at the Chief Investigation Department of Prosecutor General’s Office; the investigation is underway.
