Former First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov, the High Anti-Corruption Court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention. The press service of the High Anti-Corruption Court reports.

Arbuzov was detained in absentia.

"Given that the suspect is put on the international wanted list, the investigating judge chose this measure of restraint in accordance with the requirements of part 6 of article 193 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine. According to this article, after the arrest of the suspect and no later than forty-eight hours from the time of his delivery to the place of the criminal proceedings, the investigating judge with the participation of the suspect is considering the application of the selected preventive measure in the form of detention or changing it to a milder measure of restraint," - the report said.
