Ex-MP of Ukraine Serhiy Leshchenko has found out that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has canceled his visit to Ukraine. Leshchenko reported this on a Telegram with reference to former US Ambassador to Ukraine, political expert Steven Pifer.

"The visit was canceled last week, two days after it was offered. This was reported by US expert Steven Pifer in his records following the meetings in Ukraine," the ex-MP said.

Pifer has discovered that Ukrainian leadership is concerned about the cancellation of Pompeo's visit and links it to an investigation into the U.S. President Donald Trump’s impeachment inquiry, Leshchenko adds.

As we reported earlier, Former US Ambassador to Ukraine, Steven Pifer stated that U.S. President Donald Trump demanded Ukraine to investigate into Biden's activities, but "there was nothing to investigate." He stated it while he was answering journalists' questions during a meeting with a diplomat organized by the Open Politics Foundation, Ukrinform reported.

"You read the testimonies of diplomats such as William Taylor, George Kent, and obviously there was pressure on Ukraine," he said, "to force an investigation into Biden's activities. But there was nothing to investigate."
