As is known, self-proclaimed leaders of Donetsk and Luhansk people's 'republics' organized and held the so-called election of the local authorities, namely the 'people's councils' and 'governors'. Neither Ukraine nor the international community recognized it.

The Ukrainian delegation in Minsk trilateral contact group demanded to disband the self-styled authorities and facilities in the occupied territories.

Iryna Gerashchenko, Ukraine's Deputy Parliament Speaker reported this on Facebook.

The demand was voiced out during the meeting of Minsk contact group on Thursday, November 22.

According to her, the Ukrainian side has repeatedly protested against the illegal 'election' in Donbas, organized by the Russian political leadership and not recognized by the civilized countries.

'Russia's support of these fake elections thwarts the Minsk process far away, threatening the peace talks, discrediting them', Gerashchenko wrote.
