The EU summit begins in Brussels on Thursday; it will be running for two days, October 19 and 20. The official events are to start at 4.30 p.m. Kyiv time. Officials will discuss Brexit, migration crisis, EU-Turkey relations, as well as nuclear safety in the view of the North Korean crisis and the agreement with Iran.
Ukraine-related questions are not on the agenda.
The summit will be held in the European Council’s old HQ, due to technical issues; last week, twenty people suffered from chemical poisoning, as harmful vapor appeared in the session hall of the European Council. The toxic vapor leak reportedly occurred due to a ventilation system malfunction in the kitchen.
