Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Krykliy predicts that the European Union will fully resume flights to Ukraine in the first quarter of 2021. The minister stated in on the air of 24 TV channel.
"Europe may fully resume flights for Ukrainian citizens in the first quarter of 2021. We expect it to be the first historic visa-free event. This will allow our carriers to fly to any EU country without restrictions and bilateral agreements," Kryrliy noted.
According to him, in this regard, Ukraine depends on the whole world. The official also added that Ukraine would have reached the level of traffic in 2019 only by 2023.
As we reported earlier, the European Parliament has finally approved the EU budget for 2021-2027 at 1.1 trillion euros with an additional 15 billion euros for the bloc’s key programs
These programs are set to “better protect citizens from the COVID-19 pandemic, provide opportunities to the next generation, and preserve European values.”
Thus, the parliament gave its consent to the next multiannual financial program (MFF) so that citizens could receive EU financial support right from the beginning of next year.
