Foreign Minister of German Heiko Maas stated that EU has no reasons to change the sanction regime against Russia, as he reported on Twitter.

“Russian contribution to find peace in Ukraine is key for the improvement of the EU-Russia relations. People in Eastern Ukraine have been waiting much too long for peace. At the moment no reason to change the EU sanctions regime,” Maas stated.

The leaders of France, Germany, Russia, and Ukraine will meet in Paris on December 9 for the first time in three years in the attempt to intensify the efforts in the search of peace settlement of Donbas Conflict.

Two bilateral meetings are planned: Angela Merkel will meet Vladimir Putin (4:00 p.m. Kyiv time) and Volodymyr Zelensky (4:30 p.m. Kyiv time). The Normandy Summit will last for three hours.
