In the European Union there is no fatigue from Ukraine and fatigue from the Ukrainian authorities. This was stated in an interview with UNIAN by the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini.
"No way. Our political and diplomatic activity is more intense than ever, "she said.
According to Mogherini, some reforms are not moving as fast as they would like it in the EU, but the EU benchmark is still "on the reform process, because this is a commitment to the Ukrainian people."
Earlier EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini stated that Ukraine needs to double its work in key areas, including in the fight against corruption.
"We are expecting the adoption of a bill to create an independent and effective Supreme Anti-Corruption Court, as a result of which it will fully comply with the recommendations of the Venice Commission," she said.
According to Mogherini, another important step is "to make sure that the declarations of assets of high-ranking officials and public figures are really being analyzed."
She added that the EU "also expects the reform of the electronic declaration system to allow civil society and public organizations to carry out their work."
We recall, the visit of Federica Mogherini to Ukraine will begin tomorrow, March 12. During the visit, she will meet with Prime Minister Groysman, as well as present a new information campaign "Moving forward together."
