EU ambassadors have supported the extension of economic sanctions against the Russian Federation. This was announced by journalist Rikard Jozwiak on his Twitter page.
The sanctions package is expected to be adopted at a meeting of EU foreign ministers on July 12.
As we reported earlier, the European Union extended economic sanctions against the Russian Federation. Charles Michel, the head of the European Council posted that on Twitter.
"EU will pursue a united & strategic approach to Russia based on 5 guiding principles. We have rolled over our economic sanctions against Russia: Moscow must do its part to ensure full implementation of Minsk Agreements. We will explore formats & conditionalities of dialogue," he wrote.
