At the opening of the academic year at a university in his hometown Rize, which bears the name of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey, responding to a question about the presence of Turkish troops in Syria, he spoke including the Crimea.

Responding to a question on the presence of the Turkish military in Syria, he touched all the problem areas in this context:

another. To help brothers who are now in distress, is our right and duty. Will we turn away from Aleppo? No, we won't turn away. We can not avoid to see the problems of our compatriots in Western Thrace, in Cyprus, in Crimea. Libya, Egypt, Bosnia, Afghanistan - we can not leave them ", - said Erdogan.
