Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned Russia about the possibility of continuing operations in Idlib. At the same time, the Turkish leader intends to discuss the issue of refugees in Brussels on March 9, Anadolu reports.

“Ankara accepts any solution that will ensure the security of the population of Syrian Idlib and the borders of Turkey. Turkey reserves the right, with its own resources, to achieve the objectives of the Spring Shield operation if Moscow does not fulfill its obligations under Syria,” Erdogan said in Istanbul, speaking on the occasion of International Women's Day.

On March 9, the Turkish leader will hold a meeting in Belgium with EU representatives on the situation with refugees near the borders of Turkey and Greece.

Turkish President appealed to Greece with a call for unimpeded access for illegal migrants who want to move from Turkey to Europe, Interfax reported.

Spokeswoman for the head of the European Council on Twitter confirmed that Charles Michel and Ursula von der Leyen will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Brussels March 9.
