Turkey is planning to open an Embassy in East Jerusalem, as Reuters reports.
President Erdogan announced the plan in his speech on Sunday.
“God willing, the day is close when officially, with God’s permission, we will open our embassy there,” he said.
President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move U.S. Embassy there caused outrage among the Muslims of the world. More than 50 Muslim nations have jointly condemned the decision.
