During a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan greeted the guard of honor in Kyiv and said "Glory to Ukraine" in Ukrainian. In turn, the military responded to Erdogan ‘Glory to the Heroes’. The 112 Ukraine TV channel conducted the online broadcast.

The meeting took place near the Mariinsky Palace, where there was an official meeting between Zelensky and Erdoğan. After the car drove up with the Turkish president, the heads of state stood at the main entrance to take a photo.

The military orchestra performed the anthem of Ukraine, and after that Zelensky and Erdoğan went on a one-on-one dialogue. Just passing by the guard of honor, the President of Turkey spoke in Ukrainian.

As we reported, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Ukraine on February 3 with a working visit.

It is noted that during the negotiations, the parties will discuss ways to deepen strategic partnership and cooperation.

Following the meeting of the Strategic Council, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents and the participation of the heads of countries in the Ukrainian-Turkish business forum.
