French President Emmanuel Macron has gotten infected with Covid-19. This was reported by the press service of the Elysee Palace.

"Today the president of the republic was diagnosed with coronavirus infection," the statement said.

According to current medical instructions, Macron will be in self-isolation for the next seven days. He will continue to operate and perform his duties remotely.

As we reported earlier, Hennadiy Kernes, the Mayor of Kharkiv, died in Germany.

According to his friend, Pavlo Fuks, the consequences of coronavirus infection have given Kernes serious complications to the work of vital organs and systems of his body.
