In January 2021, the Emir of the State of Kuwait Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is going to arrive in Ukraine. This is reported on the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Thus, his visit is expected to take one week – from January 3 to January 10. In this regard, President Volodymyr Zelensky has already instructed the Department of State Protection of Ukraine to provide round-the-clock protection of the Emir.

"Instruct the Department of State Protection of Ukraine to provide round-the-clock protection of the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah during his stay in Ukraine on January 3-10, 2021," reads the text of the document.

Other information about the visit has not yet been disclosed.

As we reported earlier, Newly-elected President of Moldova Maia Sandu also intends to visit Ukraine next January.

“Pleased to meet with Moldova’s President-elect Maia Sandu. Looking forward to her visit to Ukraine in January 2021 to open a new successful chapter of Ukraine-Moldova relations as we continue to move together towards the EU membership,” said Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
