On March 30, the election silence will take place in Ukraine, which means all the agitation events and advertisement are forbidden. The press service of the Central Election Commission reports this.
“Dear presidential candidates of Ukraine! Do not violate the law and act in the framework of the current legislature. Each of you should feel responsibility before the voters, who trust you”, the report said.
According to CEC, the Commission “will protect every vote and will decisively stop all the manipulations and provocations”. CEC also assured that “there will be no interfering in the work of the Central Election Commission”.
“We all want lawful and clear electoral process, the fair elections, free and considered voting and fair results’, the Commission added.
Earlier, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has created 199 district election commissions for the upcoming presidential election on March 31.
The election campaign has officially started on December 31, 2018. Registration of the candidates was closed on February 4, 2019, and on February 9, the final list of presidential candidates appeared.
