Ukrainian president condemned the incident with the dismantlement of Ukrainian monument in Hruszowice village

Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko and Polish president Andrzej Duda discussed situation around dismantlement of the monument to Ukrainian Insurgent Army near Przemysl in Poland. Poroshenko conducted telephone conversation with Duda on the occasion of anniversary of Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth Constitution. This was reported by the presidential press service.

"Ukrainian president condemned the incident with dismantlement of Ukrainian monument in Hruszowice village near Przemysl on April 26 this year. He stressed the unacceptability of humiliation of Ukrainian government symbols and noted that this requires the reaction of Polish leadership. In return, Andrzej Duda promised to address this incident personally and  give it a proper assessment in order to prevent similar recurrences in future," the message reads.

Poroshenko invited Polish president to visit Ukraine this year.
