Ukraine's State Border Guard detained a group of persons who tried to damage the fence on the border with Hungary. The incident took place on February 26, the press service says.

"Yesterday, guards of the detachment of inspectors of Velyka Palad of Mukacheve border guard unit and the National Police workers detained a group of people (...) next to the border with Hungary", reads the message.

The Border Guard reports that six men drove Mitsubishi Pajero and tried to break the border fence; they were drunk, used foul words and threatened the border guards. The men refused to show their IDs at the direct demand of the border guards. Then, they tried to get in the car and tried escaping. The Border Guards fired the warning shots in the air to stop them.
