The Ukrainian Parliament registered the draft law on President's impeachment.
As of 2.30 p.m., the text of the document has not been submitted on the Parliament's website.
President Volodymyr Zelensky himself filed the document on May 29. Back then, the Parliament did not even put it on the agenda.
June 6, the Parliament passed the law No.1098 about the temporary and special committees of the Parliament that settle regulation of the procedure of impeachement of the President. Zelensky did not sign the document.
The first official meeting of Ukraine’s newly-elected parliament takes place on August 29, 2019. Ukrainian MPs plan to amend the Constitution. And they will continue amendments, obviously, on September 3. The Constitution is amended at two sessions, with 226 votes needed for the first reading and 300 for the second.
