The draft law on oligarchs ("de-oligarchization") will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada in the near future. This was announced by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov during a briefing.

"I have a preliminary draft law concerning oligarchs. It is currently in the works, experts are currently working on it. You will all see it soon. It will be submitted on behalf of the president to the Verkhovna Rada," Danilov said.

Earlier, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) has introduced personal sanctions against 557 thieves in law. Also, the NSDC imposed sanctions on 111 foreigners who are crime bosses. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his video message.

"The regular meeting of the National Security and Defense Council has come to an end. Its results are important decisions for the country and, probably, heart attacks for those who have been acting against it and nation for years," Zelensky said.

So, at the NSDC meeting, personal sanctions were applied against 557 thieves in law. The sanctions also "flew" up to 111 foreigners who are crime bosses.
