The test of US President Donald Trump for coronavirus gave a negative result (which means no virus was detected), as the Reuters reports.

“Donald Trump’s test for coronavirus turned out to be negative,” the report said.

Trump decided to get tested for coronavirus after the reaction of the public and media publications that the Brazilian president Bolsonaru who met with Trump confirmed he was sick with coronavirus.

The coronavirus infection was confirmed by Bolsonar's employee who is responsible for communications in his administration. He traveled with him to the United States, where he met with US President Donald Trump and US Vice President Mike Pence.

Bolsonaru is 64 years old. His health is often of concern to the public and the media.

As we reported before, President Donald Trump declared a national emergency on March 13, a decisive measure by the U.S. government to tackle the coronavirus outbreak.

Trump's declaration came amid public and private institutions canceling major events, temporarily banning large gatherings, closing schools and telling people to work from home in an effort to slow the spread of the virus.
