Dom TV channel shows occupied Crimea as part of Russia

The Ukrainian state TV channel Dom, which is funded from the Ukrainian budget and has been broadcasting for more than a year for residents of annexed Crimea and uncontrolled Donbas, showed a map of Russia with the occupied Crimea in one video.

It was in the release of the program ‘Russian Diary’. On the website of the Ukrainian TV channel UATV, the program is described as a daily video blog about Russia with Mariya Stroyova. The program’s caption showed a map of Russia with the annexed Crimea.

On YouTube and on the UATV website this video is no longer available.

As it was reported earlier, the TV channel started broadcasting on March 1, 2020. As the Ministry of Culture reported, its main purpose is the ‘deoccupation of consciousness’ of Ukrainian citizens.
