President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has commented on the pre-election promises of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky who stated that he would achieve the end of the Donbas War as Pershiy Nezalezhniy reported.
“That president stepped aside; the new one came, promised a lot, there will be no war, and so on. You know that he (Volodymyr Zelensky, - 112.international) promised. Then die but do. Die. Sit down in a helicopter and fly to Donetsk, fly to Luhansk; fly; it is your territory. Fly and act there like a pretentious king, no matter how,” he stated.
According to the Belarusian president, if Zelensky goes to Donetsk, Ukraine will applause.
“It is necessary to crawl there, look for people and if Zelensky went there, Ukraine would applause - in Donbas, in Luhansk; and he would put me and president of Russia in a position that it is possible to refuse from meeting and it is necessary to move forward as it would be a step. You were not allowed to make it, and it seems to me that you are not allowed to make it and you will not be allowed to make it,” Lukashenko added.
Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko warned Ukraine against a possible attempt to resolve the situation in Donbas by force.
Alexander Lukashenko believes that it is necessary to sit down at the table and make a deal, and at the same time Ukraine needs to divide the issues of Donbas and Crimea.
