Denisova asks to provide medical assistance to detainee

Lyudmyla Denisova, the Ukrainian ombudsman addressed the head of one of the detention facility in Rostov region due to the deterioration of Emir-Usein Kuku condition, reads the message of the ombudsman’s press office.

‘I am concerned about the deterioration of Emir-Usein Kuku condition. I am asking you to take all necessary measures to give him high-qualified medical treatment and to provide relevant information on his condition,’ reads the message.

Denisova said that Emir-Usein Kuku declared indefinite hunger strike on June 26.

Also, the ombudsman wants to be informed about the outcome of the consideration of the application.  

Reportedly, Ukraine is ready to exchange 23 Russian prisoners for 23 Ukrainian political prisoners who are unlawfully detained in Russian prisons, reads the application of Denisova.

Denisova has officially addressed Dmitriy Peskov, the Press Secretary of the Russian President and Anton Vaino, the Deputy of the Presidential Administration on her visit the Ukrainian political prisoners who are unlawfully detained on the Russian territory.

T. Jagland, the Secretary-General of the European Council has made an official request to Vladimir Putin to pardon Oleg Sentsov, the Ukrainian filmmaker.
