Degradation, de-industrializaton and de-intellectualization are currently the biggest threats to Ukraine. Such is the opinion of Viktor Medvedchuk, the Chairman of the Political Council of Opposition Platform – For Life party.
'Here are several outraging facts about degradation. Once, the total area of our country was 603,000 square kilometers; currently, 550,000 remain under control. Once, our country had 52 million people of the population. And how many are there now? 38, 35, 30? Who knows the actual number? No one does - neither the government nor the people', Medvedchuk said.
'Over 2018 we reached the level of 63 percent of the GDP of 1990, the last year of Ukraine's Soviet Socialist Republic in the USSR. This barrier was beaten by the former Soviet republics, and, currently, by the independent sovereign states, by the 2000s. And we're still falling behind somewhere in the end of that list', he said.
Previously, Vadym Rabinovich, founder of Opposition Platform – For Life party said that the political force began its parliamentary campaign.
