Head of the French Ministry of Defense, Florence Parly, in her Twitter published a video of the missile launch aimed at military facilities in Syria on April 14.
The video shows the launch of a naval cruise missile from one of the French frigates located in the Mediterranean Sea.
"Target: the place of production of chemical weapons of the Syrian regime," Parly noted.

Airstrikes became the response to the use of chemical weapons in the Syrian Douma, killing 70 people. The West blamed the attack on Bashar Assad, as well as Russia.
NATO, the EU, as well as the Czech Republic, Turkey and Ukraine have already spoken in support for the actions of the United States and its allies.
At the same time, Damascus described the attacks as a gross violation of international law. Belarus also strongly condemned it. In turn, Russia stated that it convenes an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
