Belarusian House in Ukraine commented on the death of their leader; the activists believe that Shyshov was killed during the special operation planned by Belarusian special services. The respective statement was released on their Telegram channel.

'They put surveillance on him. The police were aware of these facrs. Besides, we received multiple warning from both local sources and our people in the Belarusian Republic; they said there could be a wide range of provocations, including kidnapping and liquidation. Vitaliy took these warnings stoically and with a decent sense of humour, saying maybe it was the way for the Belarusian House to leave the information vaccum", the message said.
